We have greatly expanded the women’s changing rooms to help cater for our increasing number of active female sailors at SSC.
A dedicated group of club members worked through the winter to create the space. They took over the former men’s changing room area plus a bit more of the main clubhouse. The redecorated space is equipped with showers, benches, racks and a large mirror.
The men have been exiled to a new outbuilding, which itself provides more space for their needs.
The club is keen to cater for all demographics, as we believe sailing is a sport for all.
